I just wanted to prove that it actually works so I took a couple screenshots when I got my gift card.
The very top picture is the email I got that you'll probably get so you know what to look out for. The one on the bottom left is what it looks like when you open it and below it is the gift card code, I didn't show the full email cause my code was there obviously. Then the bottom right is after I used the code and it shows I have the $1 amazon credit! Hurry go download the app to start earning gift cards!!
