10 Things I wish I'd known sooner.

There's so much stuff that I never learned from my parents/my mom and school! That I just had to learn all on my own, well I had my wife but sometimes with stuff we just did not know what we were doing. And I really wish some one would have told me/us beforehand! My mom once told me "pues ya sabes para la proxima ves" which basically means well at least you know now! #yapaque Read my blog if you wanna learn things you didn't learn from your parents or school that you should have.

This is only the first of many tips that I have!! In no particular order. Some of these are like duh! common sense! & I might just be a dumb 22-year-old but I learned most of these after moving out living away from home and figuring them out all on my own from experience or stuff I saw online! For today it's through the process of realizing how expensive life really is.

10 Money Saving Tips
  1. Tip #1 using rags for wiping down counters and tables instead of spending on paper towels. Like duh don't be rebuying paper towels every week that's not good for the environment and it's wasteful! It's really dumb to spend $8 on a pack of paper towels every week.
  2. Air drying your clothes, instead of throwing them in the dryer. Omg, when I realized this is a thing it was life changing!! Cause you don't have your dryer running for 10 hours straight wasting gas! You'll save tons on your gas bill!! And not only that no more having to buy dryer sheets!!
  3. Instead of having Starbucks every day make your own at home!
  4. Buy a big 5gallon of water to refill, instead of buying water bottles. Plus those aren't so great for the environment either.
  5. This is more like 4½ invest in a water filter to attach to your sink and Tada drinkable water 24/7.
  6. Coupon! Duh! The key to coupons is to only clip the ones you actually need and stuff you already purchase! And to check out when that item is at its lowest price so you can get a super deal!
  7. Thrifting! Shop at goodwill and whatever local thrift shops you have around you! I mostly go to check out the furniture and like home decor, they have the most random most unique coolest stuff ever! Go check it out.
  8. Date night? Don't need to spend money! Go window shop leave your wallets at home! Follow your towns Facebook page and get updates on local free events. They have cool ones all the time! The coolest one I saw was probably movie night on the beach! They play a movie literally on the beach and you bring snacks or they'll have street vendors you can buy snacks from. But you can just pack your own yummy snacks!
  9. SHOP CLEARANCE!! Fun fact at stores like Ross and T.J. Maxx they'll sometimes have the exact same item that's full price in clearance! The same item but cheaper so look in the clearance before anything else!!
  10. Keep your windows closed and your curtains shut when the sun is shining out to keep your house cooler. If you live in a place where it's not humid all the time open them before sunrise and after sunset! Youll have a cool house all the time!!
Comment if you learned something new! Or comment if there's stuff you wish you would have known sooner that the adults forgot to mention.
