Life Update | Hot Mess, Dave Ramsey, Bullet Journal, Makeup

My life has been feeling like a little bit of a hot mess lately. But it's really not. I've just been low key unmotivated and even uninspired. That sounds awful. But I'm personally doing great. My wife's work schedule has been messing up my schedule. That's mostly what's been going on this week. Not even in a bad way tho I've been loving her being home so much! Going out and doing fun things. We even went on a spontaneous hot date to Olive Garden yesterday. It was a lot of fun, a great time.

I've been listening to a lot of Dave Ramsey. Not into the whole religion aspect of it. But most, probably all of his financial stuff he has to say is very inspiring. I got bored of the app I think I'll give it another try tho. I've just been listening to his short videos on his youtube. I'll be cleaning and just playing his videos in the background. It's just amazing so I have this awesome plan for our finances and I've very excited to put it into action. But also some of the calls he gets are so wild its very entertaining. How much debt people can get themselves into like WOW. 110% Do Recommend that you listen to Dave Ramsey. Check out his website and the programs he has to offer I am so into it.

Since I've been listening to Dave, I've started budget planning a lot on my Bullet Journal. Can you believe I got a beautiful bullet journal from Walmart for only $1. it was really nice too and not damaged. Pretty sure it got left behind from the back to school clearance things. Mine is black but they had a lime green and orange colors left and I wanted to pick them all up but I already have more than enough journals I still have to use up. Then a couple days later I found a 50 pack of the thin Crayola markers. for only $2! Also from Walmart probably the back to school clearance. Then that same day we ended up at Target where I saw that exact pack of markers for $6.99! Wow y'all got to check out Walmart, especially the clearance aisle. It's my favorite. They do have a lot of crap but like you'll find some really awesome finds if you look around. But yeah those markers are perfect to use on my bullet journal to like highlight things and decorate my pages to make them look cute. Love it!

I have probably some cool makeup Friday Finds. Coming up. I've been into makeup again. I went through this very expensive phase, I blame my wife for spoiling me. It was last year Christmas time and actually probably that whole year. My wife spoiled me with Too Faced makeup and my favorite Estee Lauder foundation and Beauty Blenders. Sephora was the place to be. But I'm really over that now. I just get my Loreal True Match Foundation, Rimmel Stay Matt Primer, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, and Loreal Miss Manga Mascara. Literally just repurchase these every time I run out and that's all! People with 100 makeup palettes are crazy like I can barely use the 4 that I have now. I've been on a lookout with one with lots of red and gold shadows then I'll be done with getting palettes. But that doesn't mean my makeup obsession is gone. It's come back! Thankfully I'm into finding budget-friendly makeup now, Elf & from Shopmissa. So that's what I meant about cool makeup Friday Finds that are coming up.

I have a post very soon on Receipt Hog & another on an app called EveryDollar. So look forward to that. I feel like I have lots of fin ideas now after my break. Sorry for abandoning you for a minute there. But I'm back, hopefully for a good while.
