Receipt Hog

Like always I am so excited to share an app with you guys. Not going to lie I had given up on this app months ago. Every time I tried to sign up it was like full/not available to sign up because too many people were already on the app and they have limited spots. I tried a couple times in the past years and I wouldn't get let in. It just would say they'd email me when spots opened up.

So when I received an email that I would FINALLY be able to sign up I was ecstatic. So obviously I signed up as soon as I could!

I'm still a little traumatized from Yarlo or whatever that dumb app was. Where I scanned all my receipts and before I could cash out they disappeared off the face of the earth and basically scammed me. It was such a waste of time. I'm so afraid that'll happen again that's why I've been hesitant to try money making apps.

Receipt Hog though I've heard so many good things about it. So I'm hopeful that they will work out and not scam me. Especially since its so like exclusive and took me months for it to finally let me sign up.

The app is so cute though. With the little hog pictures and you can dress him up. Just overall it's easy to figure out and it's aesthetically satisfying.

Besides all that, I haven't even told you exactly what this app is about. "Receipt Hog is a fun and easy way to turn your everyday receipts into real cash and rewards!" That is literally the description. So you know you save your receipts and scan them into the app then they reward you. Literally, you can scan any receipt from like stores and restaurants. Which is really awesome because a lot of apps where you scan your receipts it's mostly for like grocery receipts and household items receipts. The type of receipt you scan determines what kind of reward you get for it, they have spins, they can win you coins and such then you can earn coins or sweepstakes.

They have small surveys to do for coins. I've only done one so far. It was a really basic like get to know me survey like my age where I'm from and if I'm married you know things like that. They have a feature where you connect your Amazon account and that gets you coins and sweepstakes. I'm not sure how exactly that works for I got my first coins for connecting it though. Then you can connect your email & receive coins for that too.

They have fun little levels I'm only level 2 but I think the more receipts you scan the higher level you are and it gives you more spins I believe. They have like monthly Bonuses, that seems like fun. Then I think it's awesome they have tips and tricks on the home page that you can scroll through. That's really rad it helps you understand the app and that makes you want to use it. Then you scan more receipts and the sooner you get your rewards.

You can redeem your coins for Amazon gift cards, Paypal gift cards, and even a magazine subscription. So far I'm loving this app. But it's literally only been a couple of days. so I'll definitely do an update in the future. If you get the opportunity to be able to use the app I'd definitely recommend to give it a try.
